LUDLOW, S.D. (AP) -- A North Dakota woman died in a motorcycle crash in northwest South Dakota.
The Highway Patrol says 42-year-old Lisa Knudson of Williston was a passenger on a motorcycle that crashed in a construction area on U.S. Highway 85 shortly after 1:30 p.m. Sunday near the town of Ludlow.
Her husband, 43-year-old Kim Knudson of Williston, was driving the motorcycle and suffered minor injuries.
The patrol says 37-year-old Lance Solberg of Velva, N.D., also suffered minor injuries. He was following the Knudson motorcycle and tried to avoid the crash but his bike hit Lisa Knudson.
