The North Dakota Council on the Arts has recently received notification that it is the recipient of a $10,000 Creative Capital Professional Development Program's Workshop Subsidy Grant from Creative Capital based out of New York City.
This grant, supported by the Kresge Foundation, will assist in funding a weekend workshop for approximately 24 artists of all disciplines in April 2012.
The workshop uses an integrated approach to cover the topics of marketing/public relations and fundraising with a particular emphasis on strategic planning for individual artists. The NDCA will partner with Arts North Dakota and ArtUp! in hosting the weekend retreat for the artists.
