The North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol plan to open westbound Interstate 94 from Bismarck To Jamestown at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15.
Eastbound I-94 from Bismarck to Jamestown is open. All lanes of I-94 from Bismarck to the Montana border are planned to open at noon.
While the closures are lifted, road conditions may be poor, and caution should be taken, the NDDOT said. Roads may be icy, and snow removal equipment will be present on roadways through the weekend.
Motorists should watch for snowplows that will be operating at lower speeds.
