VALLEY CITY (AP) -- The North Dakota High School Activities Association has reinstated the Langdon volleyball program for postseason play in the fall but has put all the school's programs on probation for two years.
The action came at a hearing Monday.
The NDHSAA also ruled that Langdon may not rehire head coach Rich Olson and assistant coach Tami Flink for at least one year. The school board decided earlier this month that it would not offer them coaching contracts.
The NDHSAA board found Langdon coaches broke the rules by recruiting volleyball players from nearby Munich. Last month, the board suspended the volleyball team from postseason play. Langdon appealed the penalty.

Langdon Superintendent Rich Rogers said earlier that coaches from his school met with three Munich players and their family members in a Munich home in February, after the players and their parents indicated they wanted out of their current co-op agreement.
Langdon has advanced to the Class B volleyball tournament nine straight seasons.
