The Jamestown Police Department has announced that a convicted high-risk sex offender has moved to Jamestown.
Jesse Owen Johnson lives at 1530 6th Ave. SW, RM 33, the Buffalo Motel, Room 33. He does not have a vehicle.
Johnson has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.
He was convicted in 2017 in Stutsman County District Court. Authorities said he had possession of computer files containing child pornography and had touched a minor child.
