The Jamestown Police Department said a convicted high risk sex offender has moved to Jamestown.
Dustin Joel Dean, 38, lives at 2605 Circle Drive, the Transition Home at the North Dakota State Hospital.
Dean is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 285 pounds with green eyes and brown hair. He does not drive a vehicle.
Dean has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.
He was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 2008 in Morton County District Court in North Dakota. Authorities said while employed by a company that assists physically handicapped individuals, Dean had sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy using a wheelchair. In 2009, he was convicted of gross sexual imposition in LaMoure County District Court in North Dakota. Authorities said he had sexual contact with a 14-year-old at a camp.

Dean is currently on GPS monitoring. He is not wanted by law enforcement.
