Lucas Nitschke of Jud has been awarded the Hudson & Christine Washburn Scholarship in the amount of $12,000 for the 2019-2020 academic year at the University of North Dakota.
The scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive undergraduate years, provided Nitschke meets the renewal criteria each year.
Nitschke also received a $10,000 UND Presidential Scholarship.
Nitschke is the son of Sherry Nitschke and Blaine Nitschke, both of Jud.
