An estimated $8,000 in damage was reported in a two-vehicle crash Monday, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened around 9 p.m. on U.S. Highway 281 about five miles south of Jamestown.
Allison Knight, 15, Montpelier, was driving a 1996 Oldsmobile passenger car southbound on U.S. Highway 281, when she went to pass a semi truck and came upon the crest of a hill.
Stacey Durgin Ruschmeie, 43, Aitkin, Minn., was driving a 1999 Pontiac northbound on U.S. Highway 281 when she came to a hillcrest and noticed a semi in the southbound lane and Knight in the northbound lane.
Durgin Ruschmeie attempted to avoid Knight by swerving right, the sheriff's report said.

The two vehicles collided near the crest of the hill in the no-passing zone.
The semi driver did not stop after the collision and his vehicle was not struck, the report said.
There was an estimated $3,000 in damage to the Oldsmobile and an estimated $5,000 in damage to the Pontiac.
No injuries were reported and both drivers where wearing their seat belts.
Knight was issued citations for overtaking when unsafe as there was a hillcrest, and a citation for a no passing zone in the location of the incident.
