MAPLETON, N.D. (AP) -- Fire officials say too much debris in the piping system caused a blaze at an agricultural plant near the southeast North Dakota town of Mapleton.
The fire at Westway Feed Products started late Thursday afternoon. The Cass County Sheriff's Office says it started in an outside air system.
Firefighters from Mapleton and Casselton fought the blaze for hours. Mapleton Fire Chief Jon Warner tells WDAY-TV that there is insulation and duct work damage at the plant, but a damage estimate was not immediately available.
