MANDAN, N.D. (AP) -- A man with at least 15 drunken driving convictions since 1991 wants the North Dakota Supreme Court to overturn one of them.
Craig Irwin, of Mandan, was charged in June 2007 in Burleigh County with his fourth DUI offense in seven years.
Two weeks later, he was arrested for DUI in Morton County and charged with a fifth DUI in seven years, increasing the penalty, despite not having been convicted yet in Burleigh County.
Irwin eventually pleaded guilty in both cases.
Supreme Court justices will rule on his request later.
