WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Law enforcement officers will be on duty for traffic control and to support health care workers at West Fargo High School for a swine flu vaccine clinic Saturday.
Assistant West Fargo Police Chief Mike Reitan said the clinic can vaccinate 650 children against swine flu, or the H1N1 strain, and officials figure at least one parent will accompany each child. He says the sheer number of people could quickly fill the parking lot, and it's important to get them into the clinic as quickly and effectively as possible.
Reitan says about 25 officers will be on duty. He says it's the first such clinic in West Fargo, and officials want to "err on the side of caution" and help with traffic, parking and any other need.
