BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- A 40-year-old oil Illinois man has been killed while working in the oil field near Williston.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the man was filling a frac tank with fresh water 10 miles south of Williston when another worker driving a truck ran over him Thursday night.

KFYR reports that the incident appears accidental.

Authorities have not released the man's name. He was originally from Illinois but had been living in the Watford City and Dickinson areas.
