One dead after head-on collision

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) -- A crash involving a pickup truck and a semitrailer on a foggy highway in western North Dakota has killed one person and injured three more.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) -- A crash involving a pickup truck and a semitrailer on a foggy highway in western North Dakota has killed one person and injured three more.

The Highway Patrol did not immediately identify the person who died in the crash shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday on state Highway 22 north of Dickinson. Authorities said the male was one of three passengers in the pickup truck.

The other two passengers and the driver were taken to a Dickinson hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the semi wasn't hurt.

The patrol said the pickup was passing another vehicle when it collided head-on with the semi.
