A car-SUV crash at 5:20 p.m. Thursday resulted in one minor injury, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Daniel Gusaas, 58, Jamestown, was driving a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV south on 2nd Avenue Southwest, approaching the intersection with 3rd Street Southwest.
Kyle Debuck, 21, Montpelier, was driving a 2003 Pontiac car immediately behind the SUV Gusaas was driving.
The police said Gusaas stopped as a pedestrian was in the crosswalk on 2nd Avenue Southwest. Debuck didn’t see Gusaas had stopped and struck the SUV Gusaas was driving in the rear.
Gusaas, his passenger Mary Gusaas, 58, Jamestown, and Debuck wore seat belts. Mary Gusaas said she had back pain, but declined medical treatment.
No citations were issued.
