 The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Commission approved $45,694 Monday in change orders to the ongoing improvement project to Hillcrest Municipal Golf Course.Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department Director Doug Hogan said the change orders include raising and regarding the green for hole No. 16, as well as improving the hole’s drainage and adding sod. Drainage pipe will be added to holes No. 10 and 11 as part of this work.Mike Landscoot, commission chairman, said these changes should have been part of the original project.Hogan said working on an older golf course is like renovating an old house; there are usually unexpected projects that get added on as the work progresses.
