The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Southeast Region, will conduct an alcohol saturation event this weekend.
In 2009, 45 people died in alcohol-related crashes. To date in 2010, 14 people have died in alcohol-related crashes. Historically, approximately 45 percent of all fatal crashes are alcohol related.
Additional troopers, working on their days off, will be patrolling in and around Ransom County during this saturation event.
