An accident resulted in one person being transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center Monday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The accident occurred at 2:03 p.m. in the parking lot of the Jamestown Business Center when a car struck a pedestrian, a 52-year-old woman. The pedestrian was transported to JRMC for evaluation.
The police report indicates the driver of the reported the sun was in her eyes at the time of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation by the Jamestown Police Department, although no citations were issued at the time of the accident.
