FARGO (AP) -- Police say they have identified a "person of interest" in two pop bottle bombs put in mailboxes in the city last month.

The person was identified through an anonymous tip, Lt. Pat Claus said Wednesday.

Evidence including fingerprints has been sent to the state crime lab in Bismarck.

Police said the bombs were made using common household chemicals that were placed in plastic bottles. No one was hurt.

The U.S. Postal Service is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
