An 85-year-old Perth N.D. man was killed in a two-vehicle accident near Devils Lake this morning, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 10:36 a.m. 2 miles west of Devils Lake on U.S. Highway 2.
The driver of a 2014 Chevrolet pickup attempted to cross the highway from the turning lane and struck the trailer of an eastbound semi. The driver of the semi was not injured.
The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
His name has not been released pending notification of family.
