FARGO -- A man found dead in a north Fargo apartment Monday appears to be a homicide victim, police say.
Authorities are searching for a black Dodge Ram truck with North Dakota license plate KAT 096 that is "critical as part of our investigation," police Lt. Joel Vettel said Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the residence at 319 12th Ave. N. for a welfare check about 3 p.m., Vettel said. In one of the apartment units, they found a deceased man who had suffered recent injuries "consistent with violence," he said.
Police didn't release the man's identity or age immediately.
A possible suspect is believed to be an acquaintance of the victim, Vettel said.
