The Jamestown American Legion baseball team was swept by the Royals in Grand Forks on Monday evening in an Eastern Division doubleheader.
In the opener, Jarrett Galbreath singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh after Grand Forks rallied from a 3-1 deficit going into the bottom of the sixth inning.
Brady Schoeler was 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored for Post 14, which finished with seven hits in the game to Grand Forks' six.
The late game was not as close as the Royals jumped up early with a five-run first and never looked back, winning 11-0 in six innings.
Galbreath again plagued Jamestown, going 2-for-4 with a home run and a pair of RBI while Andy Sadler was 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.
