Program on veterans benefits slated June 19 in Jamestown

The event will be outside at the 1883 Stutsman County Courthouse.

The public is invited to attend the free outdoor presentation "Accessing Veteran Benefits" by David Bratton, Stutsman County veterans service officer, at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Stutsman County Courthouse State Historic Site, 504 3rd Ave. SE, Jamestown.

Bratten will discuss how the Stutsman County Veterans Service can help veterans access local, state and federal benefits. Those attending are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair as seating will not be provided. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors.
