FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- A new program is aimed at helping parents assess the quality of child care.
The United Way of Cass-Clay says its rating system includes monitoring as well as incentive grants and education. The agency's president, Judy Green, says she hopes it will expand.
Officials say 19 other states are launching similar programs. United Way has invested $135,000 in the project, which is scheduled to start next year.
