MANDAN, N.D. (AP) -- How to improve the heavily traveled Memorial Highway in Mandan will be the subject of a public meeting.
The Thursday night meeting is aimed at gathering ideas about ``The Strip,' which is nearly 2 1/2 miles long and has dozens of business turnoffs.
Revisions to be considered include resurfacing, installing new pedestrian areas, giving the area a new look and branding the road.
Officials say the study might help land federal highway money for improvements in 2016.
