Registered sex offender changes address in Jamestown

The Jamestown Police Department has announced that a convicted high-risk sex offender has changed his address in Jamestown.

Leslie James Klamm, 48, lives at 713 14th St. SE No. 12. He does not have a vehicle.

Klamm has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

He was convicted of gross sexual imposition in 1998 in Cass County District Court. Authorities said he strangled, stabbed and raped a woman in her residence.

Klamm is not wanted by police and has served his sentence in the gross sexual imposition case.
