Reuben Kramlich, 78, Jamestown, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown.
Mr. Kramlich was born Oct. 8, 1928, in Logan County, North Dakota, the son of Samuel and Magdalena (Jundt) Kramlich. He grew up and attended rural Logan County schools. He married Arlene Frey on Oct. 9, 1955, in Lehr, N.D. They farmed in the Lehr and Wishek, N.D., area until 1963. They moved to Kulm, N.D., and worked at the Hartman Ranch until 1979. They then moved to Jamestown where he was employed at Jamestown Public Schools until 1993. He enjoyed reading, watching television, vacationing and driving around the countryside.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Darcy, Grassy Butte, N.D., Ramsey, Tioga, N.D., and Blakely, Durango, Colo.; three daughters, Brenda Schlenker, Fargo, N.D., and Beverly (Darin) Goter and Bonny Kramlich (Todd Lippert), both Jamestown; four brothers, Willie, Richmond, Calif., Benny, Puyallup, Wash., Fred, West Fargo, N.D., and Edward, Gackle, N.D.; a sister, Ida Marcus, San Francisco; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Gust, Jake, Ernest, Sam, Edwin, August and John; five sisters, Lyda Enzi, Bertha Wallenten, Matilita Tarnasky, Mary Conn and Pauline Kramlich; and a half brother, Adolph Kramlich.
