RICHARDTON, N.D. (AP) -- Development officials in Richardton want to bring a commercial center to the southwest North Dakota town.
The idea by the Richardton Development Co. is for a $1 million, 12,000-square-foot building that could serve as rental space, offices or a grocery store.
The volunteer group has worked to bring a hospital, dental clinic and ethanol plant to Richardton. Vice President Ambrose Hoff tells The Dickinson Press that the idea for a commercial center stems from the booming oil industry in the region.
