WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) -- Mike Williams of Watertown has been elected national president of the Izaak Walton League of America.
The conservation group has about 35,000 members.
Williams joined the league's Watertown chapter in 1976 to help restore the Canadian geese population in the Midwest. Throughout the years, he rose to chapter president, state president, endowment board member, and vice president before becoming president.
