St. Paul Saints' outfielder Brent Krause has been named as a starter in the 2007 American Association All-Star Game.
Krause, a former Jamestown College standout, has led the AMA in hitting for much of the season. Currently the Andover, Minn., native is third in the league in hitting at .379. He leads the league in hits with 80 and is fourth in runs batted in with 40.
Krause played for the Jimmies from 2001-2004.
The AMA All-Star Game will by played July 17 in Sioux Falls, S.D. The team was selected by the league's 10 managers and media representatives.
