DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) -- Sentencing for a Dickinson woman accused of helping a man murder his wife before he killed himself has been delayed.
Melissa Angerer accepted a plea agreement in June under which she would be sentenced to five years in prison. But Angerer during a presentence investigation allegedly admitted to knowing her cousin would murder his wife when she drove him to the victim's residence in August 2009.
Stark County prosecutor Jim Hope said that was not known at the time the plea agreement was reached.
Defense attorney Kevin McCabe said his client denies knowing Jamie Osborn's intentions toward his estranged wife, Tracey.
