Seven snow-related car crashes occurred in Jamestown from Saturday through midday Sunday, according to Sgt. Nick Hardy of the Jamestown Police Department, who was the weekend dayshift commander.

“The numbers were a little higher with the snowfall but overall it was not that bad really,” Hardy said. “Some of the cars had to be towed but there were no injuries and just property damage.”

There were more collisions in the parking lots than on the streets, he said.
