Seven people were sentenced recently on felony charges in Southeast District Court in Jamestown.
Thomas L. Remmick, 71, Jamestown, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure, sexual assault and offenders against children and sexual offenders registration requirement, Class C felonies, and fornication and sexual assault, Class A misdemeanors.
Remmick was accused of exposing himself while he was required to register as a sex offender and engaging in a sexual act in a public place on June 16, having sexual contact with a minor 15 years or older while he was at least 22 years old on June 22 and having sexual contact with another person while knowing or having reasonable cause to believe the contact is offensive to the other person and failing to report a change in or new computer online identity on June 28.
Judge Cherie Clark sentenced Remmick to four years in the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with credit for 207 days served. Clark placed Remmick on five years supervised probation and ordered him to complete sex offender treatment. Remmick was ordered to have no contact with the victims and to pay an $800 criminal administration fee, $200 defense/facility administration fee, $70 indigent defense application fee and $100 indigent recoupment.
A Class C felony is punishable by five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. A Class A misdemeanor is punishable by 360 days in prison and a $3,000 fine.

Eric Lee Odegard, 29, pleaded guilty to prohibited acts A/controlled substances, a Class C felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C felony that was later deemed a misdemeanor.
Odegard was accused of possessing methamphetamine with previous convictions in 2020 and possessing items used to introduce methamphetamine into the body on Jan. 27.
Clark sentenced Odegard to 11 days in the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with credit for 11 days served. Clark placed Odegard on 18 months supervised probation and ordered him to complete a diagnostic evaluation by April 8. Odegard has 14 days to contest the recommendations of the evaluation or must have the recommendations completed by Aug. 6. Clark also ordered Odegard to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee and $35 indigent defense application fee.
Anthony Allen Rolland, 38, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C felony.
Rolland was accused of possessing one or more pipes used to introduce methamphetamine into the human body on Jan. 27 with a previous conviction in 2019.
Clark sentenced Rolland to 14 days in the Stutsman County Correctional Center with credit for six days served. Clark placed Rolland on 18 months supervised probation and ordered him to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $35 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.
Christopher Houston Perman, 32, Streeter, pleaded guilty to five counts of failure to register as a sexual offender, Class C felonies.
Perman was accused of failing to periodically confirm his information as required under North Dakota Century Code 12.1-32-15(7) in February 2022, failing to register a change in his address within three days with a local law enforcement agency from July 18 to Aug. 8 and from Aug. 12 to Nov. 18, failing to register a change of vehicle with a local law enforcement agency within three days of the change on Aug. 12 and changing his place of employment and not informing law enforcement in writing at least 10 days before the change from Sept. 1 to Oct. 11.

Judge Nicholas Thornton sentenced Perman to 90 days in the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with credit for 75 days served. Thornton placed Perman on one year supervised probation and ordered him to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $35 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.
Valentine Joe Gross, 60, Streeter, pleaded guilty to child neglect, a Class C felony.
Gross was accused of failing to provide proper parental care or control, subsistence, education as required by law or other care or control necessary for the child’s physical, mental or emotional health or morals on Oct. 30.
Thornton sentenced Gross to one day in the Stutsman County Correctional Center with credit for one day served. Thornton placed Gross on 12 months supervised probation and ordered him to participate in the 24/7 program for 360 days with credit for 57 days. Gross received a deferred imposition of sentence for one year. Gross was also ordered to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee and a $25 victim-witness fee.
Sloane Wolfe, 34, Star Prairie, Wisconsin, pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment, a Class C felony, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, criminal mischief and duty in accident involving death or injury-personal injury, Class A misdemeanors, and refusing to halt, a Class B misdemeanor.
Wolfe was accused of inflicting or attempting to inflict bodily injury upon another and threatening or menacing another with imminent bodily injury with a vehicle, failing or refusing to bring a vehicle to a stop after a pursuing police vehicle gave an visual or audible signal to bring the vehicle to a stop, recklessly causing a pecuniary loss in excess of $2,000 to someone else’s pickup, being a driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person and not immediately stopping or returning with the vehicle as close as possible to the scene of the accident and remaining at the scene of the accident and failing or refusing to stop after a pursuing peace officer gave a visual or audible signal on Oct. 7.
Judge Troy LeFevre sentenced Wolfe to four days in the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with credit for four days served and 360 days in the Stutsman County Correctional Center with credit for four days served and 240 days suspended, concurrent with the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation sentence. LeFevre placed Wolfe on 18 months supervised probation and ordered him to pay a $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee, $4,246 restitution and $25 victim-witness fee.
A Class B misdemeanor is punishable by 30 days in prison and a $1,500 fine.

Larry Keith Duley, 51, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor.
Duley was accused of possessing one or more pipes for use with methamphetamine with a previous conviction in 2018 and possessing methamphetamine on Jan. 10.
LeFevre sentenced Duley to 30 days in the Stutsman County Correctional Center with credit for 15 days served. LeFevre placed Duley on 18 months supervised probation.
