The Jamestown Police Department has announced that a convicted high-risk sex offender has changed his address in Jamestown.
Travis Lee Wedmore, 36, lives at 1530 6th Ave. SW No. 14, which is the Buffalo Motel, room 14. He does not drive a vehicle.
Wedmore has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.
He was convicted in 2005 in Burleigh County District Court of sexual assault. Authorities said Wedmore admitted to his probation officer that he was having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.
Wedmore is currently on GPS monitoring. He is not wanted by law enforcement.
