Sex offender residing in Jamestown

A convicted high-risk sex offender is residing in Jamestown, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Emmons, 27, resides at 1530 6th Ave. SW No. 25. He does not drive a vehicle.

Emmons is on GPS monitoring.

Emmons was convicted of gross sexual imposition younger than 15 years old in Stutsman County District Court in 2014. Authorities said the case involved a 14-year-old girl.

Emmons is on probation with the North Dakota Parole and Probation and is not wanted by law enforcement. He was assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.
