City crews will begin clearing snow in residential areas beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, and work during daytime hours daily until complete, according to the city engineer's office.
Snow removal crews will not be in the same area as the garbage and recycling collection day to day, the city engineer's office said. For example, if your garbage and recycling collection day is Monday, snow removal crews will not be in your area.
The schedule is contingent upon changing weather conditions and snow accumulation totals.
It is against the law for any person to remove snow, slush or ice from private property or from any driveway, curb cut or sidewalk and deposit it on a city street or alley. A violation can result in a Class B misdemeanor.
