BISMARCK (AP) -- .North Dakota Democrats are missing their last chance to run candidates for the Legislature in Devils Lake, Williston and northwestern Bismarck this year
Democrats don't have House or Senate candidates in three districts. They could get some on the ballot by waging write-in campaigns during Tuesday's primary election. But Democratic spokeswoman Meredith Pickett said no write-in efforts were planned.
Twenty-four of North Dakota's 47 legislative districts will have races this fall. Both parties usually have two House candidates and a Senate candidate in each district.
Democrats don't have a full candidate slate in eight of the 24 districts on the ballot.
