BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Scattered rainstorms across North Dakota caused some delays but overall had little effect on harvesting last week.
The Agriculture Department says in its latest crop and weather report soybean growers essentially finished for the season, with 98 percent completed. Eighty-eight percent of corn crop has been harvested while 59 percent of sunflowers are completed.
Topsoil and subsoil moisture supplies were rated mostly short to adequate. Pasture and range conditions in North Dakota are rated 60 percent good to excellent
