SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Strong storms prompted flash flood warnings throughout the Dakotas and led to at least one injury.

Ziebach (ZEE'-bawk) County Sheriff Robert Menzel says a man in the central South Dakota town of Dupree was taken to a Bismarck, N.D., hospital when a mobile home blew over on top of a car he was in. The man was not immediately identified.

The National Weather Service says two tornadoes were reported near Dupree. Menzel says he doesn't know if tornadoes or strong winds caused the damage in the town, which includes blown-off roofs, wrecked mobile homes and downed power lines.

The weather service says up to 7 inches of rain fell in parts of the Dakotas. Officials caution that could flood small waterways and put roads and low-lying areas under water. In south central North Dakota, water was reported over Interstate 94 west of Bismarck early Thursday.
