Street closure planned in southeast Jamestown

The Jamestown engineer's office announces the closure of 17th Street Southeast for water line maintenance work.

A street in southeast Jamestown will be closed for about two weeks for water main replacement work, according to the city engineer's office.

Plans call for the closure of 17th Street Southeast between Elmwood Place and the end of the Cul-de-sac beginning May 17. Construction crews will place detour signage and travelers in the area should use caution.

This construction work will continue for approximately two weeks.
