The Stutsman County Canvass Board certified the election results from the June 9 primary on Monday, June 15.
Nicole Meland, Stutsman County auditor/chief operating officer and election administrator, said the board looked at 325 ballots, and 281 of those ballots were accepted and included in the election total. Of the 44 that were not included, 31 had a late postmark or signature issues, 12 were in the dropbox that did not have the required white outer envelope and one contained a small city ballot but no county ballot.
There were 4,879 ballots cast in the primary.
