ARGUSVILLE, N.D. (AP) -- Authorities say a man suspected in a gun incident near Argusville has been arrested after hiding in a cornfield.

Field Commander Rick Majerus of the Cass County Sheriff's office told KFGO that 21-year-old Dylan Pederson of Fargo was arrested Wednesday evening when officers spotted him ducking out of the cornfield.

Majerus said Pederson faces initial charges of terrorizing and eluding.

Authorities spent much of Wednesday searching the 100-acre cornfield west of Argusville for Pederson after officers responded to a woman's report that a man with a handgun had forced her from a vehicle during a domestic dispute. At least one shot was fired but no one was hurt.

The woman was taken to jail on an outstanding warrant.
