DETROIT (AP) -- Brandon Inge drove in a pair of runs and Kenny Rogers made another strong start after shoulder surgery, as the Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Indians 6-4 on Wednesday night to snap their six-game winning streak.
Rogers (3-0) allowed two runs -- one earned -- on seven hits, walking three and striking out three in 5 1-3 innings.
Rogers and four relievers got plenty of help from their defense with Inge, Carlos Guillen and Marcus Thames all making run-saving plays.
Red Sox 7, Devil Rays 5
BOSTON -- All-Star Mike Lowell homered to help carry a lineup of Red Sox reserves, and Tim Wakefield cruised through six innings to send Tampa Bay to its 10th consecutive loss.

Wakefield (9-8) left with a 7-1 lead, after three of the first four batters he faced in the seventh singled.
Blue Jays 10, Athletics 3
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Matt Stairs homered and drove in four runs, Dustin McGowan pitched seven scoreless innings and the Toronto Blue Jays wrapped up a 10-game road trip with a win.
McGowan (5-4) got all the support he needed in the first inning when Stairs hit a two-run double and the Blue Jays took advantage of four walks to chase a wild Joe Kennedy (2-7).
Orioles 9, White Sox 6
CHICAGO -- Jay Gibbons homered and Kevin Millar hit a pair of doubles as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Chicago White Sox 9-6.
Rob Mackowiak hit a three-run homer and Josh Fields added a solo shot for the White Sox, who are 13½ games behind the Cleveland Indians in the AL Central and have lost 14 of their last 19 home games.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Jarrod Washburn scattered five hits and John McLaren finally got his first win as Seattle manager in the Mariners' 4-0 victory over Kansas City.
The Royals, after banging out 16 hits for 17 runs the night before, were almost completely handcuffed by Washburn, who won his third straight start and raised his career record against Kansas City to 8-4.
