The North Dakota Department of Transportation has closed some roads in northeastern North Dakota due to flooding.
Interstate 29 between exits 141 and 145 in Grand Forks was closed Friday night. Detours have been established in the area. The National Weather Service reported 4.3 inches of rain in Grand Forks Friday night and into the early morning hours of Saturday.
Highway 200 from Hurdsfield, North Dakota east to the north junction of U.S. Highway 52 east of Bowdon was also closed due to water on the roadway in several locations.
The National Weather Service reported more than 1.4 inches of rain in Jamestown as of 6 a.m. The Stutsman County Communications Center reported that there were no reports of flooding or water related problems in Jamestown as of 7 a.m.
