HENNING, Minn.--A motorcycle accident near Henning left a man dead Friday night.
Kurt Ophus, 54, of Minneapolis was riding an off-road motorcycle on private property near Highway 134 around 8:30 p.m. when he lost control and hit a tree, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.
Ophus was transported to Tri-County Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the release said.
The sheriff's office is investigating the incident.
