GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- Trial has been set to begin Aug. 17 in Grand Forks for a man accused of shaking his infant son.
Twenty-one-year-old Kyle Danaher has pleaded not guilty to charges of abuse and neglect.
Court documents say Danaher's son was taken to Altru Hospital on Dec. 30 for nausea, vomiting and "increased head size." The documents say doctors diagnosed the boy, who was no older than 3 months at the time, with bleeding on the brain, eye injuries and a healed rib fracture.
Danaher lives on the Grand Forks Air Force Base. His wife is a member of the military but he is not.
