A two vehicle accident at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday in Jamestown resulted in $6,000 damage.
The Jamestown Police Department said Tanya R. Kostal, 35, 424 Third Ave. S.W., turned left in her 1996 Dodge from the Affordable Motors lot onto First Avenue South. She told police she didn't see Monica J. Hayes, 25, 1510 11 Ave. N.E. Apt 10, northbound on First Avenue driving a 2003 Toyota. Kostal's car struck Hayes's vehicle, causing an estimated $3,000 damage to each vehicle. Both were towed from the scene.
The Police said both drivers were taken to Jamestown Hospital by family members, treated and released.
Hayes's three sons, Ryder Elston, age 1, Joel Elston, age 3 and Noah Elston, age 4, were passengers in her vehicle. One of the sons was taken to Jamestown Hospital by his grandfather, treated and released.

Hayes was given a warning for driving without liability insurance.
