WEST FARGO, N.D. --Two men suffered unknown internal and external injuries after falling 40 feet in a construction accident Monday morning here.
The two construction workers were working in the raised basket of a platform jack when the equipment tipped over just after 10 a.m., said West Fargo police Lt. Duane Sall.
The men are employed by Fagen Inc., a Granite Falls, Minn., subcontractor working on upgrades to the Monsanto facility at 304 Center St., where the accident occurred.
The extent of the men's injuries wasn't immediately known, but likely involved broken bones. They were transported to a local hospital, Sall said.
A follow-up investigation is expected by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Sall said.

Fagen employees were on site Monday investigating the accident, said Diane Fagen, the company's human resources director.
She said the company would likely release a statement today. Monsanto is expanding its West Fargo facility and converting it from a soybean seed distribution facility into an Asgrow soybean seed production facility.
