FLANDREAU, S.D. (AP) -- Two people were reportedly injured Wednesday night when a fireworks show went awry.
Officials said a shell bounced along the ground and went into the crowd.
The rest of the show, which was sponsored by the Royal River Casino, was canceled.
Larry Goelz, 36, of Pipestone, Minn., said he was about 40 yards away from the accident and saw at least one person loaded into an ambulance. He said at least one car window blown out.
"We really didn't know what happened," Goelz said. "We thought it might have been someone shooting it out of the ditch. I thought it was someone messing around in the ditch and something went wrong."
