A two-vehicle crash at 3 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 281 South, about 15 miles south of Jamestown, resulted in injuries to two people, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Leah Krupich, 32, Fargo, was driving 2014 Subaru Legacy north on 281 approaching the intersection with N.D. Highway 46.
James Grugin, 79, Jackson, W.Va., was driving a 2011 Ford Escape west on Highway 46 approaching the intersection with 281.
The patrol said Grugin failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection and proceeded to turn onto 281, causing Krupich to strike the vehicle he was driving.
Krupich, Grugin and his passenger, Betty Grugin, 77, Jackson, W. Va., wore seat belts. Krupich and Betty Grugin were transported by Jamestown Area Ambulance to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Damage was estimated at $20,000 to the Subaru and $15,000 to the Ford.
James Grugin was cited for failure to yield.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
