The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire at 144 Sunnyside Trailer Park at 4:04 a.m. Friday and cleared the scene about two hours later.
Jim Reuther, Jamestown fire chief, said heavy black smoke was coming from the back of the trailer when they arrived. Firefighters located an active fire in a back bedroom of the trailer.
Two residents of the trailer were transported by ambulance to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for possible smoke inhalation, Reuther said.
Reuther said a problem with the electrical system may have been the cause of the fire, although the department is still investigating.
The trailer sustained significant smoke and fire damage, he said.
